Daz Cameron Hits His Second Home Run On Saturday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Daz Cameron had a solid game at the plate in Saturday's loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He went 2-four-4 with a home run and two RBI in the game. Cameron was called up about 10 days ago and has seen a decent amount of playing time since then. He's played eight games and he is slashing .200/.231/.480 with two home runs, one stolen base, five RBI and four runs. Cameron saw his first MLB action in 2020 and struggled, slashing .193/.220/.263 over 17 games. He showed solid power and speed potential in the minors. In 2019, he stole 17 bases and hit 13 home runs over 120 games at Triple-A. If he can tap into some of that power/speed potential in the Majors, he could be worth rostering in deep leagues and AL-only leagues.
