Daz Cameron Could Miss Rest Of Rangers Series
4 years agoDetroit Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said that outfielder Daz Cameron (toe) is day-to-day after he was scratched from Monday's lineup with a right big toe sprain. Cameron may be rested for the rest of the series against the Texas Rangers since it's on turf. If He has to go on the injured list, the Tigers could bring up Derek Hill or Victor Reyes. The 24-year-old Cameron has hit just .207 with a .666 OPS in 63 plate appearances this year with two doubles, three home runs and four stolen bases. The team's No. 8 prospect is athletic with intriguing power/speed tools, but he'll need to find a more consistent approach at the plate and make more contact to be an option for fantasy managers in mixed leagues.
