year agoBrooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (wrist) is questionable for Thursday's contest against the Detroit Pistons. The 22-year-old has had the best season of his career, averaging 7.3 points and 6.7 rebounds. But he's also missed plenty of time this season. His most recent ailment, a sprained wrist, occurred on Monday versus Memphis. As a result, he wasn't in the lineup on Tuesday in the win over Philadelphia. With Ben Simmons (back) also out, Nicolas Claxton could see more minutes than usual, which is never a bad thing for fantasy purposes. Sharpe's potential absence might open the door for Jalen Wilson to see more action. Unfortunately, Wilson hasn't done enough to earn a spot in nearly all fantasy lineups.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

months agoBrooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (eye) will play on Sunday versus OKC. Sharpe was sidelined for over a month to begin the 2024-25 campaign because of a hamstring injury. However, since returning, he's only missed one game. The eye injury won't keep the 23-year-old off the floor, so that trend will continue on Sunday night. Sharpe has averaged a career-high 7.5 points with 6.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals this season. Unfortunately, he's not a reliable fantasy contributor. That likely won't change with Nicolas Claxton available.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

months agoBrooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (hamstring) will make his season debut on Monday against the Chicago Bulls. Sharpe will likely have his minutes restricted, as he was cleared for on-court activity on November 27th after missing the first month of the season with a left hamstring strain. The 23-year-old's return is crucial, as he provides a much-needed big body under the rim, as the Nets currently have several vital players sidelined with injuries.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

months agoBrooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (hamstring) is edging close to his season debut. Brooklyn announced on Wednesday that Sharpe has continued full on-court team activity and is expected to return to action next week. Sharpe has missed the first month of the season with a left hamstring strain. His return will give the Nets a much-needed big body under the rim. Nicolas Claxton (back) has been out of the lineup for a couple of games, and Noah Clowney (ankle) has just been ruled out for at least two weeks, so Sharpe should find himself playing a significant role right away. The 23-year-old averaged 6.8 points and 6.4 rebounds in 15.1 minutes a season ago.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

months agoBrooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (hamstring) was confirmed to have suffered a strained hamstring and the team will re-evaluate his progress in six weeks. In unofficial depth charts, Sharpe projected to be the backup center to Nicolas Claxton, but while Sharpe rehabs his hamstring, Noah Clowney is likely to receive more opportunities. The Nets are in the middle of a rebuild, and they lack a lot of depth at center. Sharpe would have seen an uptick in minutes this season, but his status is now in doubt for the beginning of the season. He appeared in 61 games for Brooklyn last season and averaged 6.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
