David Wright Not Medically Cleared
6 years agoNew York Mets manager Mickey Callaway said third baseman David Wright (shoulder) has not been medically cleared to play in major league games yet. Wright hasn't played in a major league game since May of 2016, so the team is clearly being cautious with him. Todd Frazier has been raking at third base, too, so there really isn't anywhere to put Wright if he were to come up. The main takeaway is that Wright hasn't had any setbacks yet. He should join the Mets at some point this month, but fantasy owners can continue to ignore him.
