David Robertson Notches Second Save On Saturday
2 years agoNew York Mets right-hander David Robertson struck out one over a perfect inning to pick up the save during Saturday's 5-2 win over the Miami Marlins. The 38-year-old entered the ninth inning to protect a three-run lead. Robertson retired all three batters he faced to earn his second save of the season. The veteran right-hander has yet to allow a run over four appearances in 2023. He owns a 0.25 WHIP and four strikeouts over four innings. Robertson is the Mets' primary closer and should be started and rostered in all league formats.
