David Peterson Starting Against Reds

New York Mets left-hander David Peterson is back from the paternity list and will make the start on Wednesday against the Cincinnati Reds. Peterson was away from the team for three days for the birth of his child, and he'll return to the bump on normal rest after striking out a season-high 10 hitters in six innings in a win over the Texas Rangers last week. The 26-year-old southpaw has been huge for the Mets' injured rotation this year, as he's gone 5-1 with a 3.24 ERA, a 1.20 WHIP, 60 strikeouts and 22 walks in 58 1/3 innings in 12 appearances (10 starts). In a good matchup against Cincinnati, fantasy managers could do a lot worse than Peterson as a daily streamer.
