2 years agoChicago Bears running back David Montgomery (ankle) was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice. He missed practice last week and was eventually ruled out for Week 4 against the New York Giants. The 25-year-old will have two more chances to practice determining his status for Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings. Montgomery remains day-to-day. Khalil Herbert will be the lead Bear's lead back if Montgomery is ruled out. Herbert rushed 19 times for 77 yards and caught his only target for 24 yards in last Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Giants.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
