David Johnson Feels Good To Go
5 years agoArizona Cardinals running back David Johnson (wrist) said his left wrist is "good" and he feels "good to go" after the Week 2 loss to the Ravens. Johnson said it was a "big relief" not to have suffered a serious injury. The team's lead ball carrier had just seven rushes for 14 yards (2.0 yards per carry), but he did salvage his day somewhat by finding the end zone. He caught his only target in the passing game for no gain while missing a chunk of time while being evaluated. In head coach Kliff Kingsbury's offense, Johnson should keep his RB1 upside in a good matchup with the Buccaneers in Week 3. Expect Johnson to be limited or even miss practice time this week, but it sounds like he'll be fine moving forward.
