David Johnson Doesn't Do Much In Preseason Game
5 years agoArizona Cardinals running back David Johnson had only six rushing yards on four attempts in the preseason game against the Raiders on Thursday night. It's nothing to sneeze at, but remember it's just the preseason. Johnson had 1,239 yards rushing, 879 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in 2016, but he's been a disappointment since and missed most of 2017 with an injury. In a new offense under Kliff Kingsbury with a talented rookie quarterback at the helm and young talent in the receiving game alongside Larry Fitzgerald, Johnson could easily bounce back in a big way in 2019. He should be the focal point of the offense and should still be looked at as a high-end RB1. RotoBaller has him as the No. 5 running back. He's worth taking in the first half of Round 1.
