David Irving Returning From Suspension
6 years agoDallas Cowboys defensive lineman David Irving has returned from his four-game suspension in advance of Week 5. Irving was suspended four games for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. "We've all got to remember that he hasn't had his hand in the stance for 10 months. He missed the last four games of the year and he really didn't have any offseason. If he comes in and he's ready to go, he's a talent no question. But there's got to be some sort of progression for him. But he looks good, excited to be here, and we're excited to have him," defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli said. Despite missing eight games last year due to a suspension and an injury, Irving had seven sacks (second on the team). Irving has a lot of potential, but he's not an immediate addition to IDP lineups as he works his way back into the lineup.
