Davante Adams Not Fully Recovered
5 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (toe) said his toe isn't fully recovered yet, but he's feeling a lot better. "I’m a little limited right now," Adams said, "but for the most part I can do a lot of different footwork stuff. It’s just the full-speed routes right now that are a little tougher for me. So I’m trying to fight through that, but I’m in a really good spot right now." He feels "two million" times better than when he suffered the injury in Week 4, but it's unlikely he'll play on Sunday night against the Chiefs. The Packers and Adams would prefer that he's 100 percent healthy before he returns, so they won't rush him back. Be prepared to be without him again this weekend. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is the best WR3 option in his absence, but he's boom or bust with limited targets. Geronimo Allison, Allen Lazard and Jake Kumerow will all be shaky flex plays on Sunday night.
