Davante Adams Is Extremely Versatile
4 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams averaged 3.1 receiving yards per route run last year, the most in the NFL with a minimum of 150 routes. Adams set a single-season high for percentage of routes run out of the slot at 29.9 percent. When in the slot, he caught 83.6 percent of his targets -- the second-highest rate in the NFL -- and had seven touchdowns. Adams also caught 32 passes for 231 yards and eight touchdowns on 37 targets on outbreaking routes, tying for the most TDs and third-most catches on such routes in the NFL. The 28-year-old faced press coverage on 30.3 percent of his targets, too, while enjoying just 3.2 yards of average separation. Adams had 10.85 targets per game last year, making him the most reliable fantasy wideout. That could change drastically, however, if quarterback Aaron Rodgers is traded or decides to retire because of his unhappiness with the front office.
