4 weeks agoNew York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams had a quiet debut with his new team in Week 7, catching just three of his nine targets for 30 yards in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Adams will look to bounce back on the road against the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots have been a decent matchup for receivers this season, allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Another reason for optimism for Adams is it looks like Allen Lazard (chest) is unlikely to play in Week 8, which will consolidate targets around Adams and Garrett Wilson more than usual.
