Daulton Jefferies Dealing With Bicep Tightness
3 years agoOakland Athletics pitcher Daulton Jefferies (biceps) is experiencing biceps tightness and undergoing an MRI after Wednesday's start against the Minnesota Twins. He went allowed six runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out five over four innings in Wednesday's 14-4 loss to the Twins. The 26-year-old's availability moving forward is in question, and he's considered day-to-day. Jefferies has struggled this season, owning a 1-7 record with a 5.72 ERA, 137 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts over 39 1/3 innings. Even if Jefferies avoids a significant injury, he can be left on the waiver wire in most league formats.
