Darius Garland Rolls Ankle On Friday
2 years agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (ankle) finished with 10 points and four steals in the 99-79 loss to the Knicks on Friday. He struggled shooting in this one, going 4-for-21 from the field and 1-for-7 from deep. Even worse, the 23-year-old briefly exited after rolling his left ankle in the fourth quarter. Nevertheless, with the Knicks up in the series, Garland will likely have a spot on the injury report heading into Game 4 on Sunday. If he can't suit up, Donovan Mitchell will likely slide over to handle the point and see a bump in usage. At the same time, Caris LeVert, who finished with 17 points in Game 3, would likely remain in the starting lineup.
