2 years agoChicago Cubs shortstop Dansby Swanson (side) left Tuesday's game against the Seattle Mariners prematurely with an apparent left side injury. However, after the game, manager David Ross told reporters he was dealing with cramps and isn't that concerned that the 29-year-old will miss a lot of time, as per Meghan Montemurro. Swanson was a big addition in the offseason for the Cubs, and so far, he's been more than what they paid for, slashing .400/.467/.450 with 10 runs, five RBI, and a stolen base, but he's still looking for his first home run. Fantasy managers should breathe a sigh of relief with this news, as he should avoid a trip to the injured list.--Spencer Seguin
