Daniel Palka Injured But Homers Twice
6 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Daniel Palka (knee) jammed and "tweaked" the left side of his knee in the game on Sunday and is day-to-day, according to manager Rick Renteria. Renteria also said that Palka "seems fine." Palka had two home runs (both solo shots) and a strikeout in four plate appearances in the game on Sunday. He has 24 dingers and 60 RBI on the season, but his weak .243/.294/.489 slash line makes him a one-dimensional fantasy asset. Palka might sit out a game or two, but it doesn't appear that he'll be out for long, if at all.
