Daniel Castano Hit In The Head By A Comebacker
2 years agoMiami Marlins left-hander Daniel Castano (forehead) was involved in a scary incident during Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. He was hit in his head by a comebacker off the bat of Reds infielder Donovan Solano. The hit was clocked off Solano's bat at 104.3 mph. Castano was removed from the game and he was able to walk off the field under his own power. As he walked off, a massive bruise on his forehead was on full display. The initial evaluation from the team was that he suffered a mild concussion and a forehead contusion. He will still be evaluated further and we should have more updates on his status later.
