Daniel Castano Doesn't Get Through Four Innings On Tuesday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Daniel Castano couldn't get through four innings against the Milwaukee Brewers in Tuesday's loss. Castano started the game and made it through 3 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out three. He gave up two solo home runs, including one to the opposing starting pitcher. Castano is a guy who pitches to contact and rarely misses bats. He has no overpowering pitches and profiles as a back-of-the-rotation guy at best. He'll likely need to continue making starts for the Marlins until their injured starters are ready to go.
