Daniel Berger Finds Himself Tied For The Lead At U.S. Open
6 years agoDaniel Berger got off to a hot start early Saturday morning and fired a beautiful four-under 66 in the third round of the U.S. Open. After beginning the day at 7-over par for the tournament and nowhere near the lead, Berger surged up the leaderboard while sitting in the clubhouse Saturday afternoon. While the leaders struggled in almost impossible conditions as the day wore on, Berger's score of 3-over par was good enough to be tied for the U.S. Open lead as the third round came to a close. Berger will be in the final group Sunday afternoon and shares the 54-hole lead with Tony Finau and Brooks Koepka.
