D'Angelo Russell Returns To Starting Lineup With Double-Double
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell was back among the starters again in Wednesday's loss to Memphis and had a very solid game with 22 points and 14 assists. He shot 6-for-13 from the field and 2-for-5 from deep with an 8-for-8 record at the foul line. Russell completed his line with four rebounds, one steal and five turnovers. Russell has heated up lately with three double-doubles in five games and getting a chance to roll with the starting unit provides a further boost to his fantasy value. However, his improved form gets a very tough test next, when Minnesota meets the Heat, who have given up the fewest points in the league to point guards this season, allowing them to shoot only 41.6 percent from the field.
