D'Angelo Russell Paces Nets Despite Loss
7 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell continued to break out of his slumber with a big game in a close loss to the defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers. Russell paced the nets with 25 points, dishing out six assists and grabbing five rebounds in the process. Games like this show the immense potential that the former Buckeye possesses, and he seems to fit the perfect mold into Kenny Atkinson's system. The most notable number that shows on the game line is the one turnover. Russell was turning the ball over at an alarming rate early on but has cut down a lot of it now that Spencer Dinwiddie is the primary ball-handler. Russell figures to be a fantasy asset moving forward.
