D'Angelo Russell Notches 26 Points Off The Pine
4 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell had a nice 26-point outing off the bench in Friday's overtime loss to Boston, shooting 10-for-18 from the field and 3-for-9 from downtown. He also produced a team-high eight assists and had four rebounds with two turnovers in 29 minutes. Russell was moved to the bench recently as he has to deal with a minutes restriction due to a knee injury, but in some sense, it puts him in an even better spot to perform as he gets to go up against bench units. The T-Wolves start a back-to-back set next, which could result in a rest day for Russell, so fantasy managers have to follow the team news closely.
