Damian Lillard Ends Scoring Slump With 23-Point Effort
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard led the team with 23 points in Thursday's loss to Utah, going 8-for-21 from the field and 3-for-12 from downtown. It wasn't an effective performance, but he at least improved on his recent outings, which resulted in him getting only 27 total points across two games. Lillard, who shot 4-for-6 at the line, added six assists and five rebounds with two turnovers in 34 minutes. Dame Dolla is having a bad week, but he can still make up for it with two games over the weekend. The first one is a juicy matchup against the Pistons, who struggle defensively on most nights.
