Dakota Hudson Works Into the Fifth Inning on Tuesday
6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Dakota Hudson tossed 4 2/3 solid innings on Tuesday, allowing six hits and striking out four. He didn't allow a run, but he did cough up four walks. He was lifted after his 100th pitch of the night, and he ended up throwing 59 of those for strikes. He'll have to be more efficient in order to get deeper into games, but this start was a mostly encouraging sign for the 24-year-old righty.
