Dakota Hudson Takes a No-Hitter Into the Seventh
5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Dakota Hudson took a no-hitter into the seventh inning on Monday. He was removed from the game after 6 2/3 hitless innings, allowing four walks while striking out seven. Hudson didn't get the no-no, but he did earn a win and a quality start, improving his record to 12-6 and his ERA to 3.63. It was an impressive and much needed start for Hudson, who has been struggling of late.
