Dakota Hudson Hits The 15-Day Injured List
3 months agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Dakota Hudson (elbow) is being placed on the 15-day IL with right elbow inflammation. Hudson got the start on Saturday as he faced the Atlanta Braves but got hit quite hard as he served up five earned runs in just two 2/3 innings of work. In a corresponding move, the Rockies promoted left-handed pitcher Josh Rogers from Triple-A. When Hudson returns from his stint on the injured list, he could return to the rotation, as the Rockies have several starters who are currently sidelined. However, he should remain on all waiver wires for the foreseeable future given the poor 6.17 ERA and 1.67 WHIP he sits with this season.
