5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys' contract-extension talks with quarterback Dak Prescott have reached an impasse after owner Jerry Jones called a deal imminent just last week. Not much is going on and nothing is expected to happen for the foreseeable future, according to sources. Prescott could be holding out for a shorter-term deal that a lot of recent quarterbacks have agreed to. The 26-year-old didn't let his contract talks get in the way of shredding the Giants for 405 yards and four touchdowns through the air in the season opener, and he gets another excellent matchup against Washington in Week 2.
