Dak Prescott Officially Signs Franchise Tag
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has officially signed the franchise tag, committing to stay a Cowboy for at least the 2020 season. Dak and the Cowboys will have until July 15 to work out a long-term deal, but the franchise tag at least ensures that the Dallas signal-caller will report to training camp and other preseason activities on time. The tag will pay Prescott $31.4 million this season, but both sides are reportedly looking to agree on something long-term sooner than later. We know little about what the 2020 NFL season will look like, but one thing we know now is that Prescott will be the one under center whenever Week 1 comes around.
