Dak Prescott Not Expected To Agree To New Deal
4 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is not expected to agree to a long-term deal with the team before Wednesday's deadline. Prescott will play under the franchise tag this season, becoming the third quarterback to play under the tag (along with Kirk Cousins and Drew Brees). Prescott will earn $31.4 million this year before attempting negotiations again at a later date. Reports have stated that Prescott has turned down close to $100 million in guaranteed money. If he and the Cowboys can't agree to a deal next year, they'll have the option to tag him again for $37.69 million, but the two sides will likely try to work things out again before then.
