5 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on Sunday that he expects to have a deal with quarterback Dak Prescott in a matter of "days." "It would probably be fair to say it’ll be done on a imminent basis. Imminent. Without being real clear, bright lined. It’s not done. What’s imminent? Well, days. Days. Or something like that," Jones said. There's even more incentive to reward Prescott with an extension after he went 25-for-32 for 405 yards, four touchdowns and the first perfect passer rating in team history in the Week 1 destruction of the division-rival Giants. With one of the best running backs behind him and Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and Randall Cobb in the passing game, Prescott looks ready to put up a lot of QB1 weeks in 2019.
