Dak Prescott Early Favorite For Comeback Player Of The Year
3 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (ankle) is the early favorite for the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year Award. Prescott suffered a compound fracture and dislocated his right ankle in a game against the New York Giants in October and was out for the season after that. A recent report stated that Prescott attempted to re-set his own ankle before calling to the sideline for help. Prescott required two surgeries along with plenty of rest and rehab. He has yet to experience any significant setbacks though, and as long as that continues to be the case, he's expected to be ready for Week 1. The Cowboys signal caller almost certainly won't see any preseason time, but he's hoping to be on the field on September 9th to take on the Tampa Bay Bucs.
