D.K. Metcalf Gets Shut Down In Week 7

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf had been one of the best fantasy receivers for the first six weeks of the season, but he was shut down in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals. He caught two of his five targets for 23 yards and just couldn't get anything going against cornerback Patrick Peterson. Peterson shadowed Metcalf nearly the entire game, and he got the better of him for most of the night. Metcalf nearly salvaged his day late in overtime, but a long touchdown reception was called back due to an offensive holding penalty. This game showed some of the bust potential that he has on a weekly basis, but you should still feel confident starting him on a weekly basis in all fantasy leagues.
