Curtis Samuel Scores Rushing Touchdown In Week 11
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel caught one-of-two targets for 10 yards along with two carries for 18 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over the Houston Texans. The sixth-year wide receiver had a quiet day with only three total touches in this matchup. Since Taylor Heinicke took over as quarterback, Samuel's usage has gone down from his early season numbers where he'd see at least six targets per game. With Heinicke named the starter for the time being, it's unlikely we see that usage again. A rushing touchdown saved his day, but it's hard to feel confident about the 26-year-old moving forward.
