Curtis Samuel Could Be In For A Bounce-Back Performance
2 years agoWashington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel had a rough Week 6. He had a case of the drops on his way to just two receptions for six yards. Now, with a different quarterback at the helm in Taylor Heinicke, he could be in line for a better performance. Carson Wentz was clearly hobbled in Washington's Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears, and that may have led to Samuel being out of sorts. The Commanders are taking on the Green Bay Packers, a team that performs well against the pass. For Samuel to reach his full potential, he's going to need to see plenty of the short-yardage targets he'd been getting prior to Week 6. For now, he's a low-end WR2 or a high-end flex play in most leagues.
