Craig Kimbrel Stuck At 20 Saves For Over Two Weeks

Chicago Cubs closer Craig Kimbrel's save opportunities have been non-existent during the team's 10-game losing streak. The eight-time All-Star hasn't recorded a save since June 20 and has only made one appearance since the Cubs combined no-hitter against the Los Angeles Dodgers on June 24. The 33-year-old has had a resurgence this season, posting a 0.59 ERA, 0.65 WHIP, 1.10 FIP, 20 saves and 53 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings. Kimbrel should remain an elite option, and his save chances should eventually stabilize.
