Cowboys Unlikely To Make Trade At No. 17
5 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that it's unlikely the team would trade a pick for a veteran player at pick No. 17 in the first round of this week's draft. There have been rumors floating that the New York Jets could trade safety Jamal Adams to the Cowboys this week, but that doesn't seem to be on the Cowboys radar, at least not right now. Dallas lost Byron Jones in free agency, so they could definitely use a safety to replace him, but they seem more inclined to use the draft to do so than to spring a big trade for a player.
