Cowboys, Dak Prescott Haven't Gained Traction In Extension Talks
5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott haven't gained any traction in long-term extension talks since the Cowboys made an offer a couple of weeks ago. So the two sides are basically back to the drawing board, with the deadline for reaching a long-term deal coming on July 15. Prescott received the exclusive franchise tag and isn't currently under contract, so he's not expected to participate in the team's voluntary virtual offseason program. He'll be playing for Dallas in 2020 either under the franchise tag or a new long-term deal that should make him one of the highest paid QBs in the league. With a strong running game and Amari Cooper back at wideout, Prescott will be a high-end QB1 in fantasy.
