Courtney Lee Does his Job on the Scoring Front
7 years agoNew York Knicks shooting guard Courtney Lee was one of his team's more reliable scoring options on Monday, finishing with a solid 18 points that included three triples on a fine 4-for-8 from deep. Lee also was perfect from the charity stripe, as he went 7-for-7 from the free throw line against the Sixers. He didn't do a whole lot else in this one, adding just two rebounds, one assists and one steal, along with two turnovers in his 30 minutes of action. Lee's owners are counting their good graces that he wasn't moved at the deadline, and with Kristaps Porzingis (knee) done for the season, there should be a lot more opportunity for him on offense. Keep him active.
