Courtland Sutton A Lock For No. 3 Job?
6 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Courtland Sutton has been making highlight-reel catches in training camp and has been "the talk of camp" in the early going, according to NFL Network's James Palmer. "He is the third receiver. It's not even a competition. Everyone on this team knows it," a Broncos cornerback said. While Sutton might struggle for consistent production behind Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, his 6-foot-3 frame should make him productive in the red zone, something the Broncos could really use. Sutton has been great on 50-50 balls, but he needs to improve his route running. Carlos Henderson and Daesean Hamilton are also competing with Sutton. Sutton isn't a great redraft target but could still be worth a late-round flier for his upside.
