Corey Seager Launches Pair Of Long Balls Tuesday
1 year agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager had a big night at the plate on Tuesday night, slugging two home runs as part of a three-hit effort while driving in five runs in his club's 7-3 triumph over the Angels. The impressive night at the dish added to what has been a monster season for the 29-year-old in his second campaign with the Rangers. Despite making a pair of trips to the injured list, Seager is now hitting .350 with 22 home runs and a 1.076 OPS across 77 appearances on the season. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect a significant drop in production, either, as Seager's .441 xwOBA sits in the league's 99th percentile and is only a mere five points below his current .446 wOBA.
