Corey Lajoie One of the Highest-Scoring Drivers at Superspeedways
3 months ago"Potential" has always been a good word to describe Corey Lajoie when it comes to superspeedway racing. Believe it or not, the Spire Motorsports driver has been one of the highest-scoring DFS drivers on this track type over the last few years. That often comes down to Lajoie's ability to avoid wrecks and survive the carnage when it comes to this type of racing. Here at Atlanta specifically, Lajoie has posted finishes of 13th, fourth, and fifth over the last three spring races, but has wound up 31st and 21st in the two summer events. This weekend, Corey qualified 25th for the Quaker State 400. There is a good amount of Place Differential potential there with that starting position, and Lajoie's record on drafting tracks is hard to ignore. He makes for a strong DFS pick on Sunday afternoon, assuming he doesn't drive over his head and wreck out of the race--something he is prone to do this season.
