Corey Davis Officially Inactive For Jets
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (hip) is officially inactive for the Week 8 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Tight end Tyler Kroft (back), who was questionable coming into the game, will play. With Davis officially out, the Jets will likely be running with Jamison Crowder, Keelan Cole and rookie Elijah Moore in three-receiver sets for most of the day, with Denzel Mims also seeing an uptick in playing time. Quarterback Mike White will be making his first NFL start in place of rookie Zach Wilson (knee), so this Jets offense should be avoided at all costs in Week 8 against a surging Bengals squad. Kroft and Ryan Griffin had been sharing tight end repetitions, with neither player standing out from a fantasy perspective.
