Corey Davis Doubtful, Tevin Coleman Ruled Out For Thursday
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (hip) is listed as doubtful for the second straight week, while running back Tevin Coleman (hamstring) has been ruled out for his third straight game on Thursday night against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8. Neither player got on the practice field on the short week. Davis looks set to miss his second straight game. In his absence in the Week 8 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Jamison Crowder and running back Michael Carter were the team's top two pass-catchers for backup quarterback Mike White. Rookie Elijah Moore, Keelan Cole and Denzel Mims also saw expanded roles. Despite their surprising win last weekend, it's hard to recommend any of their pass-catchers for starting lineups, outside of maybe Crowder as a flex consideration in deeper leagues.
