Corey Crawford Keeps Blues At Bay
6 years agoChicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford was perfect on Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues, stopping all 28 shots to register his first shutout of the year. The Hawks themselves could muster only 19 shots in a 1-0 win, so Crawford played a major role in ending an eight-game skid. He improved his record for the season to 4-6-0. The Crow carries a 2.76 goals-against average and a .911 save percentage. Chicago look really bad this season, so Crawford faces a big challenge in maintaining his respectable numbers. He'll battle the struggling Kings next on Friday in front of home crowd.
