Cordarrelle Patterson Finds The End Zone
2 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson had a three-yard rushing touchdown in the team's 21-18 Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The veteran running back found the end zone for the first time since Week 11 when he had a kickoff return for a touchdown. Furthermore, today's touchdown was his first offensive score since Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Patterson ended the game with 14 rushing attempts for 52 yards and 11.7 half-point PPR fantasy points. While he had a solid performance, the rookie Tyler Allgeier had a career day with 139 rushing yards. Despite the change at quarterback, the Falcons remained a run-first offense this week, totaling 39 rushing attempts as a team. Fantasy players should expect a similar game plan next week against the Baltimore Ravens.
