Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll is out of the starting lineup on Monday with the team facing left-hander Logan Allen and the hosting Cleveland Guardians. With Carroll starting on the bench, Randal Grichuk will start in right field and will hit fifth against Allen. Carroll has been better in the second half of 2024 but is still hitting just .215/.307/.364 on the year with a .671 OPS, eight home runs, 39 RBI, 20 stolen bases and 72 runs scored in 404 at-bats. Since the All-Star break, he has gone 12-for-51 (.235) with three home runs, four triples, seven RBI, seven walks, 12 strikeouts and two stolen bases in 14 games played. Grichuk represents a low-upside DFS sleeper on Monday, but he is hitting .291 (32-for-110) with a homer and 18 RBI against southpaws on the year. Grichuk also has a hit in his only career at-bat against Allen.--Keith Hernandez
