Corbin Carroll Exits Early On Thursday With Injury
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll left Thursday's loss to the New York Mets early with an apparent right shoulder injury. Carroll took an awkward swing on a pitch from Carlos Carrasco in the seventh inning and promptly grabbed his right shoulder. The trainers came out right away and he left the game before finishing his at-bat. This is significant because it's the same shoulder that forced him to miss a few games last week. The team should provide an update at some point on Friday but Carroll should be considered day-to-day for now. There's a good chance that the D-Backs shut him down for the next three games before the All-Star break.
