3 years agoReigning National League Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burnes of the Milwaukee Brewers has been working on bolstering his arsenal this offseason. In an interview with MLB analyst Rob Friedman, Burnes stated that he has been working on his changeup "a lot this offseason." He wasn't willing to go into any additional details on the pitch during the interview. Last year, Burnes led heavily with his cutter, throwing the pitch 52.3% of the time while inducing a 32.1% whiff rate. His changeup was his third most frequently used pitch. He threw it 9.6% of the time and it generated a strong 45.9% whiff rate. We'll see what he has in store with the pitch when play finally resumes.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
