Corbin Burnes Goes Seven Innings In Win
6 months agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Corbin Burnes held the Toronto Blue Jays in check Tuesday. Burnes allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out five to pick up the win. The ace moved to 6-2 on the year while lowering his ERA to 2.26 to go along with 76 strikeouts. Burnes didn't have his swing-and-miss stuff Tuesday, collecting seven, but he topped out at 99 mph on the night. The 29-year-old pitched one of his best games on the road this season. Over four previous away starts, Burnes allowed three runs in three different games. Burnes has been one of the game's top starters for a handful of years and he's looking like he will push for the best pitcher in fantasy this season.
